As an architect and artist I have traveled over the past fifty years exploring many countries and cultures. Throughout my travels with pen or pencil in hand I have enjoyed capturing landscapes and classical architecture around the world.

Then, after seeing a series of lectures by artist David Hockney I was introduced to electronic painting.  It was an exciting new art form for me.  Although I had many years of digital delineation in architecture I became intrigued by the idea of drawing and painting in this new medium.

I begin my process by doing a photographic study of my subject.  From these images I do a line drawing with my stylus on my iPadPro.  After my initial drawing I develop a color palette to create the forms, highlights and shadows of the painting. I avoid available digital techniques that imitate other forms of art. This new medium allows me to adjust my tones and composition and finally merge the multiple layers of my work to create the finished painting.

My work is in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.

I presently show my work in various venues in New England and Europe.

Although I study various medium for my works they are presently printed primarily in Germany on surfaces including - Textured Hahnemuhle Paper and Aluminum.
